Open the APK on your phone and follow Android’s installation prompts. Package: com.aalisoft.rivalpair.
Already using RivalPair? Download the Mac update package and select it in Settings → Choose signed Mac update. Back up important files first. Install Android updates over the existing app; do not uninstall to resolve an installation error. Keep your existing Mac data folder when updating. If an update is refused, report it below before changing your installation.
FIRST CONNECTION
Pair, then explore.
- Connect your Mac and Android to the same local network.
- On Mac, open Settings → Pair phone. On Android, choose Connection → Pair a Mac.
- Scan the QR code and approve pairing. Enable permissions only for features you want to test.
- For USB file transfers, unlock the phone and select File Transfer. The Android app and USB debugging are not required.
Start with copies of test files. Camera output in other Mac apps needs a compatible virtual-camera driver. Native RCS and direct cellular call audio are unavailable. Device behaviour can vary.
